Chomp Support

Email support@letschomp.com with your username and what’s happening. We usually reply within two working days.

Download Chomp from the App Store and tap Get started. You need a username, a password and an email address (used only to confirm it is yours and to reset a forgotten password).

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?, enter your email and tap Send code. We’ll email you a 6-digit code, then you choose a new password.

This works once your account has a confirmed email: add one in Settings → Email. If you never added one, email us with your username and we’ll help you back in.

• Cancel or change your plan in your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Chomp. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge; Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Restore a purchase on a new phone: in Chomp, open Settings → Chomp Pro → Restore purchases.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

On a friend’s page, a friend request or something shared with you, tap ••• and choose Report or Block.

• Blocking removes the friendship, clears anything pending between you, and stops either of you sending the other a request. They aren’t told. Unblock in Settings → Blocked users.
• Reporting sends us a copy of what you reported. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content or accounts that break the Terms. The person you report isn’t told who reported them.

Chomp can save a recipe from a web page into someone’s own recipe list, with a link back to the original. These copies are private to that person (unless they share one with a friend), and Chomp never publishes them. If you wrote a recipe and want copies of your method and notes removed from Chomp, email support@letschomp.com with the address of your recipe page (or your whole site) and show that the work is yours. We will reply within 5 working days, and remove the method and notes from every copy that came from that page or site, leaving only the title, ingredients and a link to your original.

• Export everything Chomp holds about you: Settings → Export my data.
• Delete your account: Settings → Delete account. This is permanent and immediate.
